The
1998
6/80 & MO Club Rally
September 27
Canberra, Australia
Canberra is a wonderful place for older classic cars to gather. Its many scenic features with its well laid out roads and parks make it easy for a convoy of glossy cars to see the sights.
Here is a selection of photographs of the event which coincided with the "Floriade" flower attractions.

All seven vehicles taking part assembled at the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra at 3.30pm on Sunday 27 September 1998.

A string of MO's and 6/80's set out on the afternoons drive around Canberra.

On Monday 28 September at 9.00am , we reassembled for the second day minus one 6/80. Colin Robertson, the Australian Branch Secretary is standing next to his 6/80.

Here are Steve McNicol's and Alf Paget's MO's which made the trip across from Adelaide. Steve's is "Thames Blue", a lovely colour to which the photo does not do justice.

To balance things up, here is a photo of a 6/80. The parking lights and blinkers are not original.
