A fully grown Murray River Turtle was found in the stomach of this Murray Cod in September, 2007.
The male cod was found at Kingston-On-Murray, in South Australia. He weighed 39.4kg and was 131cm long.
The turtles was 27cm long and 20 cm wide.
Although the cod was suffering from fin rot, gill rot and lesions, it appears that he died from eating the turtle.
