OVER AND OVER AGAIN

Machine pieced and BACK TO FRONT machine quilted

Composed entirely on one simple shape, squares in two sizes, this quilt is a favourite. The black background is made all the more interesting by using many different fabrics printed black-on-black prints ... but this made it impossible to mark for traditional quilting from the front so it was flipped over and BACK TO FRONT quilted along the lines of a check/plaid backing. The backing was tilted on a slight angle to the quilt top with the quilting sewn in a sort of random maze twisting and turning all over until enough of the quilt was quilted.
