This is my boy Riley, so named as he lives the 'Life of Riley'.

That lump that he is sitting on is me, he is waiting for me to get out of bed and feed him. He is being unusually patient. Usually when he wants me to get out of bed he has a range of activities to ensure that I get no sleep. these include purring loudly directly in my ear, walking on my head, pawing at my arm, jumping on me with great force and flicking his tail under my nose. Despite repeated attempts to ignore him for long periods of time, eventually I get up so I can get him want he wants and go back to bed and sleep.

Even with all this I would not be without him as he is an incredibly affectionate cat and brings me hours of joy.
