 The gospel is good news that life can have meaning and purpose.

With these words, Jesus promised a life which overflows with goodness and with purpose.
He didn't come to judge how worthwhile we had made our lives, but to provide the basis for a worthwhile life.

The Gospel is realistic.
Many earnest psychologists, welfare workers and others who help people are constantly frustrated because, no matter how much the conditions are changed, people revert to destructive behaviours.
