Image of Goomblar WyloGoomblar Wylo is an Australian Aboriginal man who comes from the Birri-Gubba and Wakka Wakka tribes of South East Queensland. He was born on a settlement called Cherbourg which is north of Kingaroy in Queensland. Goomblar performs traditional dances, plays the didgeridoo, clap sticks, story telling and much, much more. The majority of Goomblar Wylo's performance has been passed down via ancestral knowledge for thousands of years. He can also offer didgeridoo and dance workshops at his studio in the majestic Blue Mountains.

Goomblar has travelled throughout the world performing in schools, universities, conferences, hotels and resorts. He has performed in New Zealand, Poland, Lithuania, England and will be touring Los Angeles, New York and Canada in the year 2000. His show Goomblar Dreaming is 30 minutes of traditional didgeridoo playing, dreamtime stories and audience interaction. You can book this show which is done by himself, or as a traditional and culturally appropriate corroboree. The corroboree involves a group of Aboriginal dancers known as Goomblar and The Jalimar Dancers. The dance group consists of Goomblar Wylo, 2 male dancers and a Didgeridoo Player.

Note:  During the Olympic Games period and for overseas work, there are also two women dancers available if requested.
