Richard Morphew, LMusA (Piano and Singing) TC, MMTA

I am a music educator with qualifications as a performer in singing and piano (LMusA) awarded by the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), and as a secondary school specialist music teacher with the New South Wales (Australia) Department of Education. I am also accredited with the Music Teacher's Association of New South Wales (Austral) as a private teacher of singing and piano. In addition to Australian music teaching qualifications I also hold a Certificate of Attainment from the Orff Schulwerk Association of London (UK).

I am an examiner in piano and singing for the AMEB, and have extensive experience as a music adjudicator at eisteddfods and music festivals.

My special area of interest is the teaching of singing to young children, and I have carried out research in this field throughout Australia, England and USA, and have published reports and presented papers at international conferences in England and USA.

I live in the Blue mountains of New South Wales situated 100 kms. west of Sydney.
