I went to visit Maaike and Bob Spinks and saw an adorable litter of two day old puppies (Sire CWRT Y CI Strawberry Road X Ch. DAMLEN Hot Legs). There was only one tricolour in the litter and I wanted her badly, but Maaike said she was keeping her.

When the pups were four weeks old, Maaike rang and asked if I still wanted the tricolour bitch. I said "Yes I do - I will come and collect her. Maaike said "No she is too young". But I had a bitch at home with one puppy so I went and collected her before Maaike could change her mind.

DAMLEN Hot Lips has resided at WANMIRRI both in New South Wales and Victoria since she was four weeks old and we have never regretted that decision. She has done both DAMLEN and WANMIRRI KENNELS proud.

Carrie gained her title at 12 months and has won many in groups and show awards. Among her wins were: Reserve CC and Runner up Puppy in Show at the 1993 Corgi National, Five Royal CCs: Sydney 1993, Runner up Best of Breed and Puppy on the Day; Melbourne 1993, Runner up Best of Breed; Melbourne 1995; Adelaide 1996, Best of Breed; and Melbourne 1996 Best of Breed.

We would like to thank Maaike and Bob for allowing us to own this lovely bitch.

She has had one litter, the sire being our own CH. WANMIRRI Razin Cane.

We have just sent a puppy to live with Maaike and Bob (WANMIRRI Knockem Dead) and we hope he does well for them - as well as Carrie has for us.
