End August 1975, Jean Georgiou showed me 2 photos of the most adorable Blue Merle puppy that I had ever seen, and I simply had to have him. For the princely sum of $35.00 (quite a bit for 1975) I became the proud owner of RHOSSILI True Blue born on 18th July 1975. Jean also had a litter brother named RHOSSILI Domino Boy, a gorgeous tri, which my friend Ella Butler purchased. Up to the day that the two brothers left Jean's home, they were the best of friends. But once they were separated, they became instant rivals and enemies. We always had to watch out carefully at dog shows, that the two of them did not clash.

Blue became a greatly valued member of the Spinks household. He was fabulous to live with and we all loved him dearly. He had quite a respectable show career, always winning best gaited in all the sweep stakes he was entered. In fact he was such a fabulous mover that he was awarded runner up in group at the Parramatta Kennel Show on his good looks and fantastic drive. He was a true example of what a working corgi ought to be like. He did that day beat 240 dogs, I counted them!!

He could always be relied on to do the pup sitting once puppies were 6 weeks old. He looked after them like a doting mother.

When we moved house in April 1984 from Wentworthville to Londonderry, Blue remained behind with Terry and his wife Michele, where he continued to be a much loved member of their household.

We lost Blue when he was 14 years old and we all miss him very much. He will never be forgotten by any of the Spinks's, nor by his breeder Jean Georgiou. He was one of the finest dogs she ever bred, and she did breed many good ones. Thank you Jean for letting us have this super dog.
