I was born in England, but moved to Australia in my
early 20's. I
have been actively involved with dogs all my life, German Shepherds,
Greyhounds, Rough Collies.
My father was a German
Shepherd Specialist having much to do with the early development of
the breed, then known as the Alsatian in England after world war
two.
Growing up in a large family most of my younger days were spent doing one thing or another with dogs.
I
also had a passion for horses; riding for the fun of it, going
to gymkhanas, then hunting in the winter when the
weather allowed. I spent countless hours with old timers around stables
learning the art of looking at movement, nothing is
more pleasing to the
eye than a correctly built horse or dog that moves effortlessly and
correctly.
I have been involved in the ownership and racing of
Greyhounds. My
passion for
the Rough Collie came after I married and settled in Australia in the early 70's.

I
have been showing and breeding Rough Collies for over thirty
three years. Having successfully bred to date thirty one breed
champions, one Grand Champion and two obedience Champions
under the Kazjs prefix. Eleven of our homebred champions have
had multiple Best-In-Show wins at Speciality and All Breeds
level to their credit. Our Studs have sired Multiple
Best-In-Show Winners at Specialty & All Breeds level and several
Royal CC Winners.
