Each year there are times when you can collect juicing apples for making apple juice, apple cider or apple cider vinegar. Real cider apples are available from mid-February to mid-March to give high acidity (sharp) and/or high tannin (bitter) content for full-bodied flavour. Small numbers of the following are
grown:
