“Stress of any kind leads to tension which results in poor breathing, and poor breathing leads to ill health and more tension” Jennifer continued.

Pilates engages the mind as much as the body. It is like a moving meditation. The many benefits gained by regular Pilates practice include all over relaxation, improved posture, flexibility, muscle strength without bulk, a toned body with a much flatter stomach and a streamlined physique, spinal strength, relief from aches and pains and a remarkable feeling of wellbeing. The breath work that I include with my Pilates classes increases all of these benefits by more than double. The small class size affords me the time to tailor the exercises to meet individual needs” says Jennifer. “It is economical to address breathing difficulties and movement simultaneously.”
