For over thirty years now Jenny Harris has worked as a professional entertainer and teacher of dance, singing, banjo, mandolin and fitness. She has loved every minute of it. As a Buteyko Breathing Teacher as well, Jennifer has instigated the Buteyko breathing techniques into every facet of her teaching.
If you are an asthma sufferer then learning to sing or dance may have been an impossible dream- up to now. If you already sing or dance and need to rely on bronchodilators (puffers) to keep you going. Jennifer can confidently say there is now a choice. You can learn the Buteyko Method separately, or, you might prefer to learn some new additional skills at the same time. Singing and dancing are so good for you in many wonderful ways. Add to those benefits the confidence of correct breathing and a new realm of fun and health will open up.
The Jenny Harris Studios of Performing Arts is situated in Hazelbrook. Classes in singing, dance, fitness and breathing are available for all ages from 3 years to 100 years old. The Studios have just opened up a pre-school dance class and have spare room in their ladies fitness class on Wednesday mornings. You don't have to be fit or look like Elle to come and have fun in a safe environment.
Jennifer Harris is also a tutor for the January 2001 Blue Mountains Camp Creative. The Dance Of Health course offers ladies a 5 day course which empowers students with the knowledge and skill to be able to design their own "Dance Of Health". As well as imparting dance skills this course includes workshops on attitude, self-image, diet, lifestyle, music, massage and correct breathing.
Jennifer Harris is available for lectures in correct breathing. Sometimes just hearing HOW to breathe correctly is all some people need to rid themselves of symptoms. There is no professional fee attached to the lectures but Jennifer does ask that a donation be given to the work of the Springwood Salvation Army.
