Asthma Clinic

Think about this:

People in perfect health generally have a silence and stillness about them. People with health problems generally over-breathe and have heavier, noisier breathing, with visible chest movement.

How do I correct the problem?

The Buteyko Institute Method is a breathing retraining technique that is the result of the work and research of Russian medical doctor, Professor Konstantin Buteyko.

The Buteyko Institute Method uses specific breathing exercises and correct use of the diaphragm to reduce the breathing rate and volume to normal and to restore the CO2 level to normal. This resets the involuntary breathing pattern to the correct level.

The exercises are effective for children and adults. They benefit people with all types and degrees of severity of asthma and other respiratory disorders such as emphysema, chronic cough, blocked nose, sinusitis, snoring and for those who want to improve their sports performance.

You learn to breathe correctly when speaking, eating, exercising and performing all daily activities.
