Hello my name is Paula Neville from NSW Australia. I
have grown up with Pekingese all my life, originally in Finland and now in
Australia. My mother owned and breed
Pekingese in Finland; her kennel prefix name was ILOSIOEN KENNEL. She proudly bred and showed her dogs for
over 20 years. I
started my career in Finland at 21 years of age with my first Pekingese show
puppy. In
1970 I moved to Australia aged 30 years old.
In 1972 I obtained my first Pekingese to breed with and in 1974
started showing and breeding with my own prefix KOTMIA in Australia. In
the mid 1970’s I bred and owned a top winning show bitch Australian Ch.
Lollypop Pop, a prestigious Best in Show winner and Runner up in show awards
winner. I
showed and bred with success some top winning show Pekingese including the
1989 Prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show best of breed and bitch challenge
winner Australian Ch. Kotmia Shanshine. In
1986 due to personal reasons I stopped breeding Pekingese and didn’t resume
until 1997. For
the last 4 years I have been actively involved in showing and breeding
Pekingese in Australia. I
obtained a female Pekingese from the prestigious Frawai kennels,
Australian Ch Frawai Lu Chen who took out the bitch Challenge at the 1999
Sydney Royal Easter show. I
hope you enjoy my website as I have enjoyed my Pekingese throughout the
years.
